The Remington Model 700 SPS Youth bolt action rifle is built on the Remington 700's legendary tradition of the famous "three rings of steel" rock solid receiver. It is chambered in .243 Winchester which is a great cartridge for a youth shooter to start with as it has mild recoil, a flat trajectory bullet, and is still a serious hunting round. This rifle has a 20" carbon steel barrel with a 1:9.125" twist, an adjustable trigger, sling swivel studs, hinged floorplate design that holds 4 rounds, and the receiver is drilled/tapped for scope mounts. The synthetic youth stock has an improved ergonomic design that is one inch shorter than a full sized stock and comes with a length of pull adjustment kit.
